Delete Account
Cosy Dreams — Account deletion
You can delete your Cosy Dreams account and all associated data directly from within the app.
- Open the Cosy Dreams app on your device.
- Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
This cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Immediately and permanently — your account and sign-in credentials, email address, display name, saved favourites, and playback progress.
- Within 30 days — historical app usage events (which stories were played, when the subscription screen was shown) held in our analytics systems, and crash diagnostics associated with your account.
What is kept
- Subscription and payment records — retained for up to 10 years where we are required to do so by Swiss and EU accounting and tax law. These are held by our payment processors and cannot be deleted on request. They contain no playback or usage data.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics — counts that cannot be traced back to you or your account are retained indefinitely.
Deleting your Cosy Dreams account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel that separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, otherwise billing continues.
If you have any trouble, email us at stories@cosydreams.app and we'll delete your account manually within 48 hours.
